of economics and management of Inner Mongolian University
is subordinate to Inner Mongolian University,which is a
highly specialized institution of higher level for financial
and economic commercial course.It grew out of economics
department of Inner Mongolian University which established
in 1978.After more than 20 years of hard work, school of
economic and management of Inner Mongolian University have
already become the important base for training qualified
personnel of economics and management of Inner Mongolia
Autonomous Region .
School of economics and management of Inner Mongolian University
has 4 departments-economics department,finance department,the
business management department,accounting department with
7 specialties.There are economics,finance,international
trade and economics,business management, human resources
management,accounting and financial control specialties
in the undergraduate course level.In the postgraduate study
level the school is entitled to grant the master’s degree
in such areas as political economics,financial study,the
regional economics,business management study, accounting,MBA.In
recent years,the scale of recruiting postgraduate students
is expanding |

and the number of postgraduate students is increasing, averaged
200.The school aims at developing its postgraduate course
besides its regular graduate course. School of economics
and management of Inner Mongolia not only pay attention
to the education of academic credentials but also attach
great importance to the education without record of formal
schooling for training personnel of business and management
of enterprise, trying to bring up all-levels of talented
people of economics and management for the development of
the economy of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. At
present,school of economics and management of Inner Mongolian
has nearly 50 specialized teachers,including 8 professors,17
associate professors,16 teachers who give instructions and
supervisions for the postgraduate students in their study
and getting the Master s degrees.The young and middle-aged
teachers almost obtain Master’s degrees.These teachers have
already become the backbone of the scientific research and
teaching contingents and the pillar of the Autonomous Region.Covering
a construction area of nearly 5,000 square kilometers, the
specialized teaching building of school of economics and
management are armed with many multimedia classrooms and
computer-generated rooms linked through Internet. Trying
to be more foresighted, school of economics and management
initiated the information construction projects of economic
building in the teaching hardware and software construction
and almost finished the network. They can provide a very
good network environment for students and teachers to take
advantage of the modern facilities and information resources
effectively and quickly to conduct the activities of teaching
and scientific research and to carry out the management.
Actively taking the step of open policy, school of economics
and management established friendly intercourse with Beijing
University, Fudan University and Xiamen University. In recent
years, approximately 1/3 of teachers are involved in various
kinds of academic exchange and training every year. School
of economics and management has undertaken 4 items of state-funded
natural science topics, 4 items of state-funded social science
topics, the autonomous region plan topics, and the teachers
are engaged in research work of dozens of various kinds
of topics in the autonomous region.
As a specialized academic commercial organization, the
school of economics and management maintains a good relationships
with the industrial and commercial circles of the Autonomous
Region and takes every efforts to provide services in the
training and management of the talented people and planning
and consultation of projects. Many teachers also act as
economic advisors of all levels of government and are involved
in the boarding word of many big enterprises. After 20 years
of hard work, school of economic and management began to
take shape. They are taking every efforts to increase the
quality of personnel and structural level of running a school,
trying to create a competitive and specialized school of
economics and management of high level. |
